Friuli Venezia Giulia is an area that offers an infinite variety of flavours and aromas to be tasted via its typical dishes and its simple and wholesome culinary customs based on history and tradition.

Following the FLAVOUR TRAIL means embarking on a journey to places where these products have their traditional roots. Friuli is the home of the famous San Daniele ham, D.O.C. wines and cheeses of every shape and type. Famous are those produced by the Coderno dairy, as well as others with different flavours such as those from Enemonzo, which are the result of differing micro-climatic influences in the region, each leaving its mark of unforgettable flavour and aroma.  A destination that is sure to be of interest to our guests is vineyards in the new areas of Friulian DOC where many wineries can be visited, with ample opportunity for tasting.  Not to be missed are visits to the Longobard town of Cividale, the famous Spilimbergo mosaics and the Venzone “mummies”, as well as Sauris, Tarvisio, Cave del Predil and Carnia to try the ancient and simple flavours of mountain cooking.
